I-Seimas, iPalamente yaseLithuania, yamkele iSicwangciso seSizwe sokuzimela kwamandla elizwe (NEIS) esijolise ekufikeleleni ukuzimela ngokupheleleyo kwamandla ngo-2050. Ngaphantsi kwesicwangciso, iLithuania ijolise ukuvelisa amandla kwiimfuno zayo kunye nokuthumela ngaphandle okufanayo.   

Esi sicwangciso saqala samkelwa ngo-2012 kwaye inguqulelo yaso ehlaziyiweyo yamkelwa ngo-2018.  

Ngokutsho koMphathiswa wezaMandla waseLithuania, inguqulelo yamva nje ehlaziyiweyo ineenjongo ezi-4 eziphambili ezilandelayo:  

  • ukuqinisekisa unikezelo lwamandla olukhuselekileyo noluthembekileyo kubo bonke abasebenzisi 
  • ukufezekisa i-100% ye-climate-neutral energy ye-Lithuania kunye nommandla 
  • ukutshintshela kuqoqosho lombane kunye nokuphuhlisa ishishini lamandla elongezelelweyo ixabiso eliphezulu, kunye  
  • ukuqinisekisa ukufikeleleka kwemithombo yamandla kubathengi.    

I-Lithuania ilindele ukuba ukusetyenziswa kombane kwayo kwandise ngaphezu kwe-6-fold by 2050, ukusuka kwimfuno yangoku ye-12 TWh ukuya kwi-74 TWh eqikelelweyo.  

Ngo-2050, ilizwe liya kujolisa kwi-100% amandla angathathi hlangothi kwimozulu. Imveliso yehidrojeni eluhlaza yingqwalasela enkulu kwisicwangciso sokukhupha ikhabhoni kushishino lwasekhaya kunye neenjongo zokuthumela ngaphandle.  

Ukufikelela apho, ibona amandla okongeza i-5.9 GW ye-onshore kunye ne-offshore yamandla omoya, i-4.1 GW yamandla elanga, i-1.5 GW yeeprojekthi zebhetri, kunye ne-1.3 GW yezityalo ze-electrolysis phakathi kwabanye, ngo-2030. Oku kuquka utyalo-mali kwikhonkco lombane weHarmony kunye nePoland kunye ne-1st hydrogen pipeline.      

Ngo-2050, amandla eplanti yamandla omoya elunxwemeni nakwi-offshore anokubakho yi-14.5 GW, ngeli lixa lawo amaziko ombane elanga ayi-9 GW kunye neepaki zeebhetri ziyi-4 GW.   

Isabelo semithombo yamandla ahlaziyekayo kwi-2022 ibalwa kwi-29.62% yokusetyenziswa kwamandla apheleleyo kwi-2022. Ngo-2030, i-NEIS iqikelela ukwandisa le sabelo kwi-55%, inyuke ukuya kwi-85% kwi-2040, ekugqibeleni ifikelele kwi-95% kwi-2050.    

Iinkcukacha malunga ne-NEIS 2050 ziyafumaneka kwiwebhusayithi yoMphathiswa wezaMandla.  

Ekupheleni kwe-2023, i-Lithuanian iyonke amandla okuvuselela amandla avuselelweyo eLithuania yayimi ngaphezu kwe-2.78 GW, equka i-1.16 GW ye-PV yelanga, ngokutsho kwe-Arhente ye-International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).
