Samsung is reportedly preparing to launch the Galaxy Z Flip FE in 2025, a more affordable addition to its popular foldable lineup. According to the latest leak from Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), the Galaxy Z Flip FE will feature the same primary display as the Galaxy Z Flip6, promising a high-quality viewing experience for users.
Impressive folding display technology
If the rumour proves accurate, the Galaxy Z Flip FE will come equipped with a 6.7-inch FullHD+ 120Hz LTPO AMOLED folding display. With a pixel density of 426 ppi and a peak brightness of 2,600 nits, this screen ensures vibrant colours, crisp visuals, and excellent readability, even under bright sunlight. The adoption of this premium display from the Galaxy Z Flip6 highlights Samsung’s commitment to offering high-end technology, even in its more affordable models.
While the main display specifications seem to be from the Flip6, details about the Galaxy Z Flip FE’s cover screen remain unclear. If Samsung decides to use the same cover screen as the Flip6, users can expect a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED panel with a resolution of 748×700 pixels, protected by durable Gorilla Glass Victus 2. This would ensure a compact yet functional external display for quick notifications and basic tasks.

The Exynos 2500 is said to boost speed and power use, likely closing the gap between the FE model and the top foldables.

While Samsung has not yet shared clear details, the “Fan Edition” (FE) name hints at a device made to give good value without cutting too much quality.
