According to tipster Digital Chat Station, Red Magic is developing its second-generation gaming tablet. It is set to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading version processor. It does not have an official name yet, so let’s call it Red Magic Gaming Tablet 2.

The tipster suggests that Red Magic will unveil the new tablet by late August 2024. Unlike the trend towards larger screens, this successor is likely to have a smaller display. For reference, the first-generation tablet, released in July 2023, had a 12.1-inch LCD screen with a 2.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.
The new tablet is likely to feature a flat, boxy design. While details are limited, it may include a robust cooling system. We can even expect an active fan, as seen in previous Red Magic gaming smartphones. Moreover, expect it to have a large battery and fast charging capabilities. For comparison, the first-generation model had a 10,000mAh battery and 80W charging. The new tablet might also offer up to 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage.
