Porsche has expanded its lineup for its first all-electric SUV with the first rear-wheel-drive Macan model. Additionally, while the focus for the rear-wheel-drive Macan was primarily on high efficiency and range, a new Macan 4S will fill the gap between the Macan 4 and the Macan Turbo. (Earlier post.)

Electric car sales continued to grow in Europe this year, with the exception of in Germany, according to a new analysis by environmental NGO Transport & Environment (T&E). Battery electric sales in the rest of the EU (excluding Germany) increased by 9.4% on average in the first half of 2024.
