Helsinki, January 23, 2024 – The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) officially announced the addition of five substances of very high concern (SVHC), bringing the total number of substances on the SVHC list (also known as the Candidate List) to 240. The complete SVHC list can be accessed here.
ECHA has also updated the existing Candidate List entry for dibutyl phthalate to include its endocrine-disrupting properties for the environment. Dibutyl phthalate (DBP) was added to the SVHC Candidate List in October 2008 in the first batch.

For products exported to the European Union that contain SVHC substances exceeding 0.1%, companies are obligated to fulfill information transmission and SCIP reporting requirements. If the export volume of SVHC substances exceeding 0.1% exceeds 1 ton per year, SVHC notification must also be conducted.
مسئولیت ها و تعهدات شرکتی
شرکت ها باید از مسئولیت ها و تعهدات خود در مورد مواد SVHC در محصولات خود آگاه باشند:
- هنگامی که محتوای SVHC در یک مقاله از 0.1٪ بیشتر شود، تامین کنندگان آن باید اطلاعاتی در مورد استفاده ایمن از آن به گیرنده مقاله ارائه دهند.
- در صورت درخواست مصرف کننده، اطلاعات کافی، از جمله نام مواد و غلظت آنها، باید به صورت رایگان ظرف 45 روز ارائه شود.

- از 5 ژانویه 2021، موادی از فهرست SVHC موجود در مقالات با غلظت های بالاتر از 0.1٪ باید به پایگاه داده SCIP ECHA ارسال شوند. و
- موادی که در فهرست SVHC فهرست شده‌اند ممکن است در آینده در فهرست مجوز گنجانده شوند و شرکت‌ها را ملزم به درخواست مجوز برای ادامه استفاده کنند.
